9 Lives Cat Rescue Group of Oxford MS
The no-kill 9 Lives Cat Rescue Group of Oxford MS is a welcoming place for cats and the people who love them. Since its foundation in 2006, it has provided care and compassion to stray and surrendered animals in Lafayette, Mississippi and surrounding areas. We are a 501(C)3 group, which allows your donations to be tax deductible. We spay and neuter all of the cats that come through our group before they leave us for new homes. We also are involved in community outreach to help educate the community on the importance of vaccinating, spaying and neutering their pets. We strongly support the non-lethal TNR (Trap/Neuter/Return) method for feral/unsocialized cats. Please get in contact with us if you need help with feral/wild cats. Our adoption fee is for most of our domestic cats is $50.00. This includes the spay/neuter surgery, which will be done before any animal leaves us. It also includes rabies and FVRCP vaccinations, worming and flea treatment if needed. The price for a barn cat varies between $10 and $40. The fee covers the spay/neuter surgery, rabies vaccination, deworming and flea treatment if needed. Please get in contact with us for details. You can see that the adoption fee is not very high when you start comparing what all the medical costs would be at the vets. We require an application and adoption questionnaire to be completed as well.
